Before the advent of LCD screens, most computer screens used cathode ray tube technology (CRT). When the same image is displayed on a CRT screen for long periods of time, the phosphor coating on the inside of the screen gradually changes, eventually leading to a "ghost" image on the screen. This was the catalyst for the invention of the screensaver, to protect screens from this type of damage.
Although modern LCD screens are not susceptible to this type of deterioration, screensavers have boomed in popularity, becoming an entertainment source and a promotional tool by which companies can spread their message.
Using Flash as our screensaver development platform, we produce branded screensavers which are engaging and draw attention. Particularly useful at trade shows and conferences, our screensavers can turn an unattended PC into an advertising site for anyone in viewing distance.
We take our clients' branding, artwork and messages, and merge them into distributable, self-installing screensavers.
Your screensaver can include photos, flash files, soundtracks, midi files, video clips, all synchronised together.
You can also link particular content to pages on your web site or web site enquiry forms.
